The Little Children and Jesus
People were bringing little children to Jesus for him to place his hands on them, but the disciples rebuked them. When Jesus saw this, he was indignant.
He said to them, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of God belongs to such as these. Truly I tell you, anyone who will not receive the kingdom of God like a little child will never enter it." And he took the children in his arms, placed his hands on them and blessed them.
Small children are still pure, without sin. (Romans 9:11) . That's why baptism for infants is a human tradition, not a biblical one. Leave the child's genitals alone. Philippians 3:2 Watch out for those dogs, those evildoers, those mutilators of the flesh.
When Adam was lonely, God gave him one woman. Not ten. Not a man. And certainly not a child.

Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth
Do not bring children into the world if you know you cannot give them a decent life, a good education, if you know you will not have enough love and willingness to take care of them properly, a child should not come to this world to go hungry and suffering. Be responsible and don't just think of yourself.

Work and Responsibility
The Bible makes it clear that work is part of God's design for humanity. From the beginning, Adam was placed in the garden "to work it and take care of it" (Genesis 2:15). Work is not a curse but a calling, a way to provide for our families and to glorify God through diligence.
Scripture strongly warns against laziness. The book of Proverbs is filled with wisdom about the sluggard:
"Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise!" (Proverbs 6:6)
"A sluggard's appetite is never filled, but the desires of the diligent are fully satisfied." (Proverbs 13:4)
"As a door turns on its hinges, so a sluggard turns on his bed." (Proverbs 26:14)
Paul also gives a direct command: "For even when we were with you, we gave you this rule: 'The one who is unwilling to work shall not eat.'" (2 Thessalonians 3:10).
This means that choosing to have many children while refusing to work and provide is not in line with God's Word. Children are a blessing (Psalm 127:3), but blessings come with responsibility. A father and mother must be willing to labor for their household, as Proverbs 31 praises the industrious wife who "works with eager hands" and provides for her family.
Laziness brings poverty and shame, while hard work brings honor and provision. Raising children without a willingness to work is a contradiction to biblical teaching. God calls parents not only to nurture but also to provide, modeling diligence, responsibility, and faithfulness.
Children – A Precious Gift and a Sacred Responsibility
Children are a heritage from the Lord (Psalm 127:3), entrusted to parents to love, guide, and raise in the fear of God. Yet, the Bible also warns us that the enemy seeks to corrupt and destroy from an early age. Just as parents rejoice in the innocence of their children, they must also be watchful, for the spiritual battle begins even when children are very young.
When children reach adolescence, they may become rebellious or stubborn, testing boundaries (Proverbs 22:6; Ephesians 6:4). These challenges are not only natural but also part of the spiritual struggle for their hearts. Parents are called to respond with patience, discipline, and love, reflecting the Father's care.
But Scripture also teaches us how to protect and prepare children in the midst of a broken world:

Train them early – "Start children off on the way they should go, and even when they are old they will not turn from it" (Proverbs 22:6).

Do not provoke them – "Fathers, do not exasperate your children; instead, bring them up in the training and instruction of the Lord" (Ephesians 6:4).

Guard their hearts – "Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it" (Proverbs 4:23). Teach children to protect their minds and hearts against ungodly influences.

Teach God's Word diligently – "These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts. Impress them on your children" (Deuteronomy 6:6-7).

Warn against bad company – "Do not be misled: Bad company corrupts good character" (1 Corinthians 15:33).

Clothe them with spiritual armor – "Put on the full armor of God, so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes" (Ephesians 6:11).
The War on Children
Every day, innocent children become victims of a hidden war — physical, emotional, and spiritual. The numbers reveal a heartbreaking reality:

A Holy Calling
This is why parents and the church must remain vigilant. We are called not only to provide but to protect, not only to nurture but to equip. Through prayer, teaching, and living out the Gospel, we can raise children to stand firm in faith.
Children are not only the future — they are the Lord's gift today. Protect them, guide them, and raise them to know Christ, for they are under attack, and it is our holy calling to stand guard.
Stop Being Selfish. Smash Ego
If the natural door is closed, stop forcing it, there is another door wide open. An estimated 153 million children worldwide are orphans (UNICEF).

Europe Child aid - share your love
Focus on the children in your own continent, where your compassion can grow roots and bear lasting fruit. "Wisdom is near to the one who has understanding, but the eyes of a fool roam to the ends of the earth" (Proverbs 17:24).

Before Birth
Both Moses and Jesus faced attempts on their lives as infants. In the story of Moses (Exodus 1-2), Pharaoh ordered the killing of all newborn Hebrew boys to suppress the growing Israelite population, but Moses was saved by being hidden in a basket.
Similarly, in the NT (Matthew 2:16-18), King Herod ordered the massacre of all boys aged two and under in Bethlehem to eliminate Jesus. Both Pharaoh and Herod sought to prevent the birth of those destined for greatness. Evil has always tried to extinguish potential—who might you be stopping from seeing the light?

The teaching material "The Pig Story" of the Dutch pig sector is not information, but unauthorized advertising aimed at children ruled the Advertising Code Committee (RCC) after a complaint from Varkens in Nood. In addition, the teaching material contains misleading statements that give children a far too rosy picture of the pig industry. Pigs in Need filed a complaint with the RCC because of deception and child marketing.
Following a hearing on December 10, the RCC ruled this week that the pig sector's teaching material is "unmistakably advertising aimed at children" and "falsely gives the impression of containing neutral, objective information."
Deception: The RCC also finds that a number of specific statements in the teaching material are misleading for children. For example, farrowing sheds are described as comfortable for the sow and her piglets. It is not mentioned that the sow is locked up in a cage in which she can hardly move. The POV also mentions piglets that "play together with the toys that are in every pen". In reality, two thirds of pig farms do not have suitable distraction material at all. This results in horrible animal suffering. Out of boredom and frustration, pigs bite each other's tails until they bleed. It's not the police who need to be retrained, it's the public. We have grown into a mouthy, mobile phone wielding, vulgar, uncivil society with no personal responsibility and the attitude of 'it's the other person's fault', 'you owe me'. A society where children grow up with no boundaries or knowledge or concern for civil society and personal responsibility.

When an officer says "Put your hands up," then put your hands up! Don't reach for something in your pocket, your lap, your seat. There's plenty of reason for a police officer to feel threatened, there have been multiple assaults and ambushes on police officers lately. Comply with requests from the officer, have your day in court. Don't mouth off, or fight, or refuse to comply... that escalates the situation.
Police officers are our sons and daughters, fathers and mothers, brothers and sisters. They're black, white, brown, all colours, all ethnicities, all faiths, male and female, they are us. They see the worst side of humanity... the raped children, the bloody mangled bodies of traffic victims, the bruised and battered victims of domestic violence, homicide victims, body parts... day after day.
They work holidays while we have festive meals with our families. They miss school events with their kids, birthdays, anniversaries, all those special occasions that we take for granted. They work in all types of weather, under dangerous conditions, for relatively low pay.
They have extensive training, but they are human. When there are numerous attacks on them, they become hyper vigilant for a reason, they have become targets. When a police officer encounters any person... any person, whether at a traffic stop, a street confrontation, an arrest, whatever... that situation has the potential to become life threatening. You, Mr & Mrs/Miss Civilian, also have the responsibility of keeping the situation from getting out of control.
Many law enforcement officers are Veterans. They've been in service to this nation most of their lives, whether on the battlefield or protecting us here at home. They are the only thing that stands between us and anarchy in the streets.
